Limitation Of Remedies for all TDK Life on Record products
Imation Corp. [Imation] warrants to the end-user customer that the TDK Life on Record product will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year (unless otherwise stated) from the date of purchase. If Imation receives notice of any such defects during the warranty period, Imation will, at its option, either repair or replace the product, which it finds to be defective at no charge (except for shipping and insurance).

This limited warranty does NOT apply when the malfunction results from the use of the product in conjunction with other products, software or accessories, or where it is determined by Imation that there is no fault with the product itself. This limited warranty is invalid if the factory-applied serial number has been altered or removed from the product.

In no event shall Imation be liable for any incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use of the product.

Imation Warranty for TDK Life on Record Audio System
Except for the clauses below, Imation will repair (or at its option replace) any part of your TDK Life on Record audio system which in the repairer's option needs repair or replacement because of defective manufacture or parts during the 1 year from your audio system's original buying date.

How to Claim your Imation Warranty

• Please provide proof or original buying date when requesting Imation warranty service
• Please install and use your audio system in accordance with instructions in your operating manual

Place and Time of Service

• Please return or send your audio system (at your cost and risk) to the retailer of purchase or return to Imation or its repairer. If you send your audio system and/or leave it with Imation or it is taken by Imation or its repairer, you are advised to insure for freight loss or damage

Services for which you may be asked to pay at the then current rates
Repairs needed because of

• cockroach or other insect or mice damage
• accident, misuse, negligence or tampering with
• use other than in accordance with instructions on your audio system or in your operating manual
• lightning strikes
• salt build up or rust or corrosion if you live near the ocean or in a high humidity area
• repairs or attempted repairs by anyone other than Imation or its repairer
• use of your audio system on voltage other than that specified
• repairs to your audio system if bought at auction

IMATION SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS OR DAMAGE (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, SAVINGS OR DATA) IN ANY WAY RELATED TO THE PRODUCT.
